different thickness of insulation on windows and doors

Please, can anybody help me, I tried several times to solve it several hours, without success to set different thickness of insulation on windows and doors. I think in old versions of archicad it was possible, but on new versions not possible. It is common thing that you have different thickness of insulation on openings, so I do not understand, why there is so many settings of wall closure, but one basic and the most often used, there is not. Any advice? On screenshot I hade to make 30mm of insulation from hatch, but this is not solution.

Operating system used: Windows 10

Using custom closure you should be able to select which skin to turn and with what thickness

Thank you, but this is not what I need and this is not, how it is done in reality on buildings. Look thoroughly on the picture I enclosed please. But I doubt, it is possible in archicad in latest versions. It looks I will have to write to Graphisoft to repair this bug, but I think, they dont care and wont repair it anyway.

Hi @Ssu-hsin

I agree with @Jp1138 you could play with window settings, mostly Reveal and Wall Closure. There you could use Custom closure to change turn-in thickness individually by each of the skins of your wall. Maybe another closure type could fit you better depending on desired dimensions.

If none of these works you could also use 2d fills for detailed views.

Thank you for the effort, but you understood it again wrong. See picture.

Hello Ricardo, thank you for effort, this wall closure that you made, I would like to have also, I do not have outside skin, and than it does not work, spent nearly one hour trying different combinations, but cant do the overlap in of insulation, in this case 40 mm.

I have already solved it, thank You Ricardo for challenge, I have tried again and different settings than yours, but at least I have achieved required desired result in ac 19 and later also in ac 27. only difference between ac 19 and ac 27 is in section, that there is visible stucco skin, but it is small detail, important is, that this works in plan view, section and elevation view.

Hi @Ssu-hsin

Keep playing with window settings, I think that is the key.

You can combine reveal type dimensions and custom wall closure. See the attached files for reference even I don't know exactly what building materials you are using...

Hello Ricardo, yes, this is how I wanted to look it like, the first setting you posted did not work for me, so I have tried it differently with success, the second setting you posted also looks as I wanted correctly and I also achieved it again little differently, but thank you that you showed me, that it is possible to set it, it made me try again and of course you also gave me hint, where to look for in settings. I appreciate your help 🙂
