empty panels: curtain wall object

Do any of the AC11 curtain wall objects allow me have empty panels?

Dont think you can. Workaround is to use a material with 100% transparency.

But the 'grid vertical' object does allow you to turn the 'filling' (?) off. The vertical and horizontal grids are great simple little objects.
