License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

eyedropper use in find and select menu, how to?

I am trying to use the eyedropper feature in the find and select menu. When I click the eyedropper button and select a line who's "similars" I would like to select with the finder it does not pick up those lines parameters. Am I doing something wrong, or am I assuming the eyedropper does something that it was not designed to do?

If I understand you to select same objects using Find and Select you don't use the eyedropper you use the Copy Settings option in the palette.

Hi,

Click on the eyedropper button in the "Find and Select" dialog box, then hit alt+c on your keyboard (windows). Now you can click on any element, and the settings of that element will be injected into the "Find and Select" area.

Best,
