from windows to Mac

Hello all,

Can anybody tell me what's the best way to migrate a project from Archicad 10 for Windows to Archicad 11 for Mac?

The Library Manager is unable to find the parts as they are on a completely different place. Also the names are different "W1 Casement" is now "W1 Casement 11".

Many thanks for the help.

Archive your project in Windows with parts of the loaded library, or use the available (US site) downloadable library for version 9, 10 to use with version 11 and open the archived file in Mac/ACversion 11 and either read all from the archive or load the used libraries.

Joachim is in Portugal, and presumably using the INT library. The US lib and subsets are not compatible with INT. The PLA archive process is the route he should take.

You are right Karl, I'm using the INT version.

By using the pla will I not get lots of duplicate files as well?

(1) Install Archicad 10 on your Mac
(2) Point your project's libraries to the AC10 library

Done.

Sadly enough, I don't have AC10 for Mac.

then download the AC 10 subset library. This plus the 11 library should give you everything you need. Failing that ask your ArchiCAD support point for an ArchiCAD 10 CD.
