The trick of course is to find an attractive venue which is not too expensive (and has a good pub).

I have also attended events at some retreat centers which were very inexpensive, but the religious affiliation probably rules out having a good pub on site (too bad Dionisian worship has fallen out of favor).Matthew wrote:So true. At the other end of the spectrum, meeting at a hotel/conf center attached to a major hub airport makes the participant costs and travel time minimal ... but doesn't make an appealing 'destination'.
I would prefer to see a location near a major airport (avoiding too many connections) and with minimal ground transportation (hour max?). The locations you list fit the bill, although all are pretty high rent areas too...

Any word whether there will be future ArchiCad university seminars - we enjoyed the 2004 archicad university west outside of Los Angeles.

I'm going to cry if the next ACU is in the US and they dont have one in europe, I missed the ACUE because I was stateside, and now I'm going to be in Europe, and I'll miss this one if it's in the US
