The SF bay area could be a good location for a west coast event. The ArchiCAD community is exceptionally strong and growing fast thanks the able efforts of Tom Simmons and Jeff Olken.
Of course my suggestion has nothing to do with my recent move to the area
Perhaps we could even do it right here in wine country, assuming people don't indulge too much until afterward.
Seattle could also be nice (I haven't seen my sister in while). That's fairly close to your neck of the woods isn't it? (At least within a few hundred miles - close by northwest standards.)
Or perhaps Vancouver. That would enhance the international flavor and really make it easy for Dwight to attend.
The trick of course is to find an attractive venue which is not too expensive (and has a good pub ).

At the other end of the spectrum, meeting at a hotel/conf center attached to a major hub airport makes the participant costs and travel time minimal ... but doesn't make an appealing 'destination'.
I would prefer to see a location near a major airport (avoiding too many connections) and with minimal ground transportation (hour max?). The locations you list fit the bill, although all are pretty high rent areas too...

I'm going to cry if the next ACU is in the US and they dont have one in europe, I missed the ACUE because I was stateside, and now I'm going to be in Europe, and I'll miss this one if it's in the US
