gradient fills

using gradient fills in ac10:
when printing small gradient fills the gradient disappears
large gardients print ok. but the narrow ones do not create enough "fountain steps" and they print flat
tried on 2 different printers and pdf output and the result was the same.
is there any solution???

may be you forgot to adjust the transition center of the fill pattern.
is it like this?

NO
it looks ok on screen but it prints without gradient
flat.
i cannot send example because it looks ok...

How small?

If it is a general printing problem, it should show even in PDF.

Otherwise, update your printer's driver or check the settings of the same.

by small i mean like 1/2 cm wide.
and it prints flat also in pdf. so it's not a printer driver problem
it's a archicad otput to printer problem.
