how do I unlink the tool bars/pallets in AC19

The tool bars/pallets have taken over my screen and there is no place to work in AC19 because they are linked to the main space...Up till now kept all tool bars on another screen...how do I unlink these pesky things and arrange for a better workspace for me...

If you are in Framed mode, the palettes can be grabbed at their end where there are a series of dots and pulled out of the frame where they will float above the main window. For maximum control, change to Legacy Window Mode, this is like the old interface where nothing is framed.
