linetype export?

How do I take my carefully-crafted linetype set of linked color, number, and lineweight, and take it into another model? I'm told it doesn't export like a .ctb does, but it seems like there must be a way.

you use a combination of two tools: the 'attribute manager' and 'favourites'.

with the attribute manager you can transfer attributes (layers, layer combinations, pens, linetypes, fills, composites, materials, zones and locations from project to project).

using 'favourites' you can export a palette of elements whose attributes are saved for future use.

i have a feeling that all you're after is a linetype and penset transfer using the attribute manager, but i'm not certain from reading your post. have a read about both of these features in the manual and come back if you have any questions . . .
