missing special menu function

I have migrated straight from 8.1 to 10, figured how to implement the special menu, but there is a missing function, I cannot seem to replicate. Show penetration lines;

Now in all probability this is pilot error, might not be, but, my hope is someone here who has a better in depth understanding of just how this program "really works", can help me attain that much missed feaure in ver 10.
