opening AC7 in AC12

is it doable?? i tried opening an AC7 file in AC12 and it said its incompatable?

you need AC10. install it, patch it, open the files you want and save them as v10. Then open in 12

kinda useless if u only have 11 and 12... every other program on the planet opens anything from its previous version.
