plotmaker flashing

When I am working in Plotmaker 9 (2045 USA FULL) the plotmaker screen flickers. The flicker happens at irregular intervales. The flicker lasts only a moment--probably less than a second.
I have a pretty good graphics card and 2 gigs of ram (see signature below). This problem did not appear until I installed Plotmaker 9. I had the same computer running the previous version of Plotmaker with no flicker.
Is this a known problem?
Can anyone suggest a fix for the flicker?

Yup, a known problem. Reported during beta testing and various places in the forum.

It isn't a 'flicker' per se - the PM window frame/etc should stay rock solid, but the drawing in the layout will be redrawn up to 3 times for some odd reason. This will happen on XP if PM 'loses focus' .. that is, you click on another app's window while PM is still open... you'll see the PM layout seem to flicker as the drawings are re-drawn. Also happens at various times when working in PM.

No harm. Just annoying.

bingo here...we get the same...and yes we are on XP....and it even happens when your viewing a layout with Autocad loaded....good to know guys

thanks for posting the info about the flicker. I thought it was just my hardware or something. It is very annoying.
