I need that if I want to stay with ArchiCAD.

Really? Just wondering what you did before Revit 2012 came along. Curious as to what you need to have this feature for that you would switch software just to have.

because of the crisis my last firm is closed and I switched to surveyor firm. they are specialized in 3d scanning, especially old buildings. For documentig this buildings using point cloud they use Polyworks, AutoCAD and Z-map.
So boss is now looking into Revit since the importance of BIM I presented it to him, and my basic knowledge of Revit.
and probably I won't switch to Revit for new designed buildings, but for documenting old ones. Of course if that function works good.
