I set :
- building meterial for surface finish as "tile light show 15x15",
- composite as "tile floor insulated"
- slab setting as "tile floor insulated"
but why the floor pattern effect still display as other material? but not diaplayed as "15x15 tile pettern"?
(I can make display as 15x15 grid by uncheck the "use fill from surface " and set "cover fill" as grid 15x15, but that is not the way tutorial shows
Thanks

Is the top surface of the Slab overridden in the "Model" panel of the Dialog? I have not tried it, but I guess in that case the Cover Fill would display the fill of the override surface.

Graphic Overrides?
Did you check your Surface if it has the right fill?
Hope this helps.
