"Previous" Ghost story setting

I just thought I would point out a nice little new feature in 10 that I just noticed. You can now set the ghost story display to "previous" and is will show the last story you were on as ghosted. Very nice if you are moving between two stories...

I was thinking that since it's in the Reference manual, you may not qualify, but then I remembered some of the other earlier tips!

I received a fold-out scale rule once (amongst other things) and it's not that I didn't appreciate it ( I love my gifts from GS), but it's just that it was metric and I was living in the US!

Nevertheless it is a good feature - now if only it worked in all views, including layouts, sections, elevations, & details. Would really help us line up our drawings!

A quick question on AC9 vs AC10 and ghost story settings:
In AC9 I can access a small, handy ghost story setting dialogue box by typing OPTION + 4

I can't find that same dialogue box anywhere in AC10 - I have to access the ghost story settings in the Story Settings (OPTION +7)

Has the smaller, ghost story only dialogue box been banished in AC10?

I think you're referring to the 'Go To Story' dialog, which is now ctrl+shift+F2 on a PC. On a mac it's apple+alt+F2.

You can find all the new AC10 shortcuts for Mac at:

Please say hi to Lars. I'd love to be back there now!!

Does that mean I have to read the reference manual? Nothing like a good book...

It's a really good book to read just before you go to sleep - keeps your chest niiiiice and warm.
