"X" fill

Not applicable
I've gotten bored of having to place the DET_LUMBER object every time I create a new detail, and I want some accurate 3D documents as well, so I decided to try and create an "X" fill. However I just can't it it to fit right, I tried using "Element Origin" and "Fit to skin" in the building material dialog box, but none of it produced a correct fill. Either the fill becomes rotated, or it's zoomed in.

Does anyone have a list of parameter which I can copy? I need a 2x4 and 2x6 "X" fill.

For now I have to use complex profiles and define 4 building materials which are the same and draw 4 triangles... but at least it saves some work in the detail window.

2 options of try
  • Use a composite to which you apply the fill.
Define a Custom Profile with 2 different fills (so that they don't clean up) in an "X" pattern and apply to object.
