setting a template to v18 with an already v17 working one

helo,
i am working in v17 for 2 years and i have a template with materials, composites , complex profiles, worksheets, layouts and so on ..
as i see the 18 have diferent material database , render settings ,etc and i am trying to set a same template to v18.
what can i use and transfer from 17 and how?

so far:
1)if i copy a composote wall for example to v18 from v17 i have missing attributes at the library manager. is there a way to find and copy those missing atributes ? should i change the composite materials?

2) how do i copy worksheets from one pln to other?

3)the merge option preserves a link to original drawing . how can i import those ?

please take a look at the below pic.
i copied a simple wall composite and i get those at the library manager.
i check the building materials and all the materials are present there. why i get this message?

This is due to the changes to Surfaces in AC18 due partly to the change from LightWorks to CineRender. If you select one of the textures in the dialog box and click the blue Info button you will get more specific information. One option is to look at these Surfaces in the Surface Settings dialog box and change the missing textures to ones that are in the currently loaded libraries. You can also try loading the ArchiCAD 17 Migration Library, it might contain the missing textures.

As for your first post, take a look in the Help files for Migration Guide for ArchiCAD 18 > Migrating from ArchiCAD 17.
