sloped sided mesh

I want to use the mesh tool to create a window planter box with three sides sloping in at the bottom and a flat back. Is there a tutorial or instructions for creating sloped sides on a mesh?
Thanks,
John

John,
Could you tell us why you want to make the window planter box
out of a mesh ?
AFAIK, mesh skirts are always vertical.
Is there a reason why making the window planter box
with slabs, walls, and roofs is not acceptable ?
Thank you,

you could give the mesh a depth of zero. then you can make a sloping face. Trouble is then a verical face is not possible without SEO

Peter,
I used formZ in architecture school. Using formZ I would be able to model the planter box pretty easily. Now I'm trying to get more comfortable with making unusual shapes in ArchiCAD. I am using the window planter box as a tool for learning how to work with meshes.
Is there a better ArchiCAD tool to make a planter box that has an open volume inside, sloped sides and molding at the top edge?
Thanks,
John

John,
Solid Element Opertations seem tricky to me. I wanted to create an object that I could place in a variety of projects and still be editable. If I use the solid element operation I would need to take the operator elements with the object. It sounds unweldy to me.
Tell me more.
Thank you,
John

CheapnNasty™ Windo box:

zero slope roof slab with edges tilted back.

Never mind about the cutout for soil - just make the top plane of the roof dark.
