storey setting query

I am a recent convert to Archicad, from Revit 2012 so I am still on the steep learning curve.
One thing I have not quite grasped yet is how to set up a project in terms of its storey settings.
Bearing in mind the internal floor level of the lowest level of a typical house would be 150mm above the external ground level, what do you define as the storey setttings in Archicad....?
Does the ground floor run from -150mm to say 2500mm.....?
But if you do this, when you go to insert internal doors on the ground floor plan, they would be insertsed at the wrong level unless you manually ajusted the height each time by +150mm.
Could anyone please just outline how you would set up a simple 2-storey project, for say a new house.
Thanks

+3,00=finish floor; +2,88=top of the bearing slab; +2,68=bottom of the
bearing slab)
2. Story 1.......from 3,00 to 6,00m

Door insertion point:
You can set the anchor point (bottom level); in this case 0,00
