I have another question about TEXT 3D. Is there possible to rotate text under OY axe.
Hi Horia,

Try Peter Devlin's rotator. It's very handy and you can download it from this thread http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?p=126352&highlight=roty#126352
or from the depository http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/object_depository.php?browse=Depository/Archicad%20Modules

Cheers.

you can also use textures for applying text to a particular surface. It takes much less resources of your computer, then 3D text does.
Does 3D text have too many polygons or something?

Thank you very very much. Finally work. The 3d text can be rotated.

I'm very sory about my intervention, but the name of this topic match with my issue, but, it's true that the context does not match. I'm sory.

Thank again

Yes, it's a very complex object with lots of polygons. The text glyph is the most elaborated 2D objects. And 3D text tries to reproduce this spline-nature curves. Modern computers are power enough, but it'd be better to avoid unnecessary 3D text.

Thanks Leo. Will keep that in mind although, usually, my requirements for 3d text are minimal - say one or two instances in the whole design.
