trim wall to underside of shell - not top of shell

it appears that the walls are being trimmed to the top of this shell instead of to the underside of the shell. this is a quonset hut and the material thickness is very thin (~1/16") and is modeled with thickness. how can i get the walls to trim to the underside so that these walls are not seen from above (it is affecting the graphics of my roof plan)? thanks in advance.[/img]

Check if the walls are trimmed at the downside of the shell using a section. In some cases the 3D view contains artifacts.

Is the Building Material strength for your shell stronger than the BM s in the wall?
It should be.
