wall different height, but without trimming to roof.

hi,

anyone knows if it's possible to create in AC a wall, so that one side of wall is higher or shorter, than the other side (wall remains vertical).

I could simply build a wall, and trim it to slanted roof, but I have many of them in my project and it's a bit timeconsuming and not very precise.

I also know, that I could easily build such wall with a mesh tool...but I won't
insert a window in it..

thx

If you mean you want the internal leaf at a different height to the external leaf then you want to explore Complex Profile walls.

No, I mean that If you draw a normal wall on a plan, and look at it in the elevation view, you have a square - left side, and right is at same height - and I want them to be at different..

Then if you want a sloping change in height you have to use the trim to roof or Solid Element Operations to achieve that.

But if you want the height to step (rectangular) then you just need to start and stop the wall and set each one to a different height.
If you already have the one wall in place then you can use the Split tool to split in in two and then adjust the height as needed.

kielbasa, did you find a way to do it? simple wall with rising height without using mesh tool, cut with roof, solid element operations or complex profiles... ANYONE? it seems too simple to be impossible to do! this is the kind of wall that we use every day...
cheers, jm

Now you can also use the shell tool, which is quite easy to model in 3D.

And you can have windows and doors, sort off, if you use skylights to do the job.

One more workaround, but nicer than the rest.
