wall line

Hi all,

I'm relatively new to archicad, but here's an annoying problem. How do I get rid of the line between two walls of different height?

Cheers

Both walls are polywalls.

The Problem is on how you connected the walls. Difficult to explain clearly, but basically you have to connect first the Main walls and then the balcony.

i think... that if you drag your lower height wall away and drag it back carefully to line up with your black walls, you'll find the line will go away... this may be a display thing but it looks like your lower wall is like a hair line away from lining up with the outside face of the other wall... i may be wrong, but i've seen it happen before....

sorry, i disagree... i think the walls that are on the same plane should BE on the same plane and reference lines on the same side: outside. Then the perpendicular wall needs to be connected onto that point....carefully.

By connect I assume you mean draw or some other procedure? First I drew the outer wall and then the balcony wall. This is what you mean,no?

edit/ reshape/ adjust
or
edit/ reshape/ intersect
both commands will 'connect' walls that haven't been drawn connected in the first place...
by connect in archi-lexicon (haha) i understand that the reference lines touch and thereby the walls are connected... i hope this makes sence...

anyway, back to your problem... i bet that the balcony wall is either a hairline away from the point where the other two walls meet or a hairline of a degree out from the plane it should be on... (if as you say the priorities of all 3 walls are all correct AND all the materials are the same on that plane)
