wall line

Hi all,

I'm relatively new to archicad, but here's an annoying problem. How do I get rid of the line between two walls of different height?

Cheers

Depends on your version of AC.

verify that,
1. both walls have the same materials
2. that they touch
3. that the reference lines are in the same place
4. that they have the same priority number in layers
___
please post a screen shot so that I don't have to keep guessing.

Here are the lines. Bear in mind that the walls DO touch, and the reference lines are on the SAME side. I can't understand it. Does having different thickness walls have anything to do with it?

check the wall priorities: are they the same?
check the layer's palette: are the numbers next to the layers your walls belong to same, or different?

The wall priorities are the same as are the numbers next to the wall layers.

Do the reference lines touch? Are the materials the same?

IMO it is a precision error. Try drawing the wall again.

Yes they do.

hmmm.... can you post a screen shot of your plan?

edit: different thicknesses do not have anything to do with with.
is there a perpendicular wall to those two, joining in the same location? if yes, check the same things mentioned above, particularly the reference line of the perpendicular wall to the one it joins with...
