where's my navigator gone?? mac book pro

when i plug the screen off, the navigator and generally all panels that are usually on the right side of the drawing are missing.
and when i try to relaunch them, they're either already checked, meaning they should be there, or if i check them, i can't see them..
i 've already tried restarting.. not working..

This has been discussed recently.
Reset the Work Environment to Standard for the palettes to reappear.
You should save separate Work Environment profiles for your different monitor configuration so you can easily switch between them.
