I would like to be able to drag a new 2D xref to line up with an existing xref ie a second floor plan over the first floor plan from autocad so that I can trace my Archicad walls etc. over the autocad plans. I can't seem to line up the two autocad floor plans and move on.
Why can I not move an xref in Archicad?

You can and you should be able to.

Are you trying to have 2 trace references at a same time ?
