Stuck at 4 | Calculating Split Polygons in opening an Elevation

Enalios
Newcomer

Hello, I am new to archicad and I am creating a project in which I inserted furniture from SketchUp and bimcomponents.com. Everything was going smoothly until recently, when I tried opening an elevation, but it kept being stuck at 4 | calculating split polygons. I tried creating a new viewpoint, and it was still the same. I also tried reducing the polygon count of my furniture and the curtain wall in the project. When it comes to opening other elevations and sections that roughly have the same details as the elevation that kept being stuck were fine, and there was no problem. I am using a laptop that has an Intel i7 processor, 32 GB RAM, and a 4050 GPU. I would appreciate advices and responses

Don't use objects imported from Sketchup. This might increase your polygons and make Archicad extremely slow.

You may need to use modelport add on for reducing your polygons.

I never use imported objects. Archicad objects are enough to achieve what you want.

If you want to render and imrpove the appearance us an external renderer that uses GPU and has a better performance with polygons and triangles.
