Creating hotspots in PARAM-O

Hi all,

Is there a possibility to create hotspots on certain coordinates directly in PARAM-O?

Thank you,
Oli

I do not agree, Param-O has some limitations in creating shapes but GH-Archicad live connection has limits works to Archicad also, better to use them both.

Hi, I understand that you will use GDL Shape but where will connect the node or just simply place it somewhere in the canvas? Thanks!

In the end what is your Objective? ArchiCAD 9 onwards
CPU: i9-14900K @ 3.2Ghz; GPU: GeForce RTX 5080 super (16GB); SSD: XPG GAMMIX S70 1TB; RAM: 64GB @ 4200MT/s.

That will make hotspot(s) only in 3D, not on the 2D floor plan view...

Is there a way to set hotspots that are visible on the floor plan view?

As far as I Know, you can only add 2d hotspots in GDL. This works very well in combination with param-o.

There is an excellent tutorial about hotspots on "Barking Dog Bim"

Hi there,

You can use the same transformation on a gdl shape to get the result you want but it'll still be only in 3D

Shame about 2D but that's all I've managed since I started playing with Param-o

Yep, I used this for the 2D Hotspot:
