Door Schedule Merge shows one door only (there are many types)

There are 2 different library part, a simple swing door and a pocket door. I used the description part of the doors to set their types (A, B, C) but cannot get archicad to behave: the schedule should merge the doors by type, but when the merge option is on it merges everything into one. It should show 3 different types: A, B and C separately. has anyone solved this?

these are all the doors, to show there are 3 types:

this is what archicad gives me when the "merge" option is on:

Hi,

Does your schedule have enough fields (columns/ row) so there would be a difference between the doors? Because it should only merge elements with identical properties but it has to know what those properties are.

Hi @MrSoleil

It would be awesome if you share a screenshot of the schedule settings with criteria and fields, so we can try to help you. 😉

I would suggest adding a property or element ID to the schedule as a field. This would give you the ability to group Door A to door A, B to B, etc. then when you merge, it will keep them separated by that identifier. I believe you can also hide that field, if you didn't want to show it, so that it's only there as an organizer, not as a visible schedule field.
