How to export the Surface Attribute to Excel

I would like to know if there is a way to export the surface list to Excel to make sure that the surface quality of the hotlink file and the original file match.

I want it to be organized like the one in the 33rd minute of this video.

Please let me know if there is any add-on involved.

The easiest way to export the surface list to bring it in to excel is in the Attribute Manager (not attribute pallete) click the Save to txt option.

You can then easily open the resulting text file in excel and manipulate as required.

The excel tool you can see on screen is something we wrote in house. Is just used a hell of a lot of index/match functions.

if you are looking for a more robust solution I would suggest contacting @_c_  about a python gui tool for this exact purpose. More details here:  https://community.graphisoft.com/t5/Project-data-BIM/Attribute-mismatches-an-app-to-find-them-all/td...
