I simply don't need it to tell me every time I open a file that things need updating. It is unnecessary screen clutter that takes up valuable space in the tab bar.

I agree but don’t know how to disable it
its a solution looking for a problem!

I agree with what my colleagues have said, and I would really appreciate it if Graphisoft could disable this feature in one of the next updates to ArchiCAD 27. It's completely useless and impractical. Why force improvements to something that already works flawlessly?

FYI: Updates are released only for the latest two versions, which are Ac28 and Ac29 currently.

I also have Archicad version 28 with all updates. So how can I permanently disable the information center in this version of Archicad?

I don't think there is a way. If it was an Add-On like many functions in Archicad, you could disable it or remove it from the Add-Ons folder. But I don't see such an Add-On. I think it is part of the Archicad application file itself and cannot be disabled.
I also do not see any setting in the Registry Editor that would make it possible to disable it.

Anyway thanks for help 👍

You can't remove it nor disable it though it has been wished for.
