Issue with zones not displaying in 3D

I hope that this is just a settings issue that I have misunderstood.

We have a series of zones set up, but they will not appear in 3D view, unless I first select them in 2D/plan and then hit F3 or F5.

What do I need to change to have them show in 3D at all times?

p.s. have ruled out/checked;

model view option over-ride
renovation filter issue
layer not being switched on

It is a setting you are missing. If I remember correctly go to View and look for the "show elements in 3D" item that has a list were you select which items are always shown or hidden. There you will see that zones are unchecked.

Eduardo,

Perhaps you can help me with another zone mystery?
I am unable to have my zones display on any floors above the home story (ground floor). The stories are set 3.1m FFL to FFL. This particular zone is 11m high. So I would expect to see it on first and second floors but can't? Any ideas?

Unfortunately the Zone Tool, unlike some other Tools like the Wall, Slab, Roof etc., does not have this option to have an element visible on Stories other than its Home Story. This is regardless of its height. It is a limitation and could be useful (you could make a wish for it).
If you want to see it on a given Story you should place a Zone on that Story. Probably you should create Zones that extend vertically from 0.00 of their Story to the 0.00 of the Story above.
