OK buttons gone AWOL!

I've loaded ArchiCAD onto my portable and have just noticed that the "cancel" and "Ok" buttons are missing from some menus, such as the layers and materials menus. Everything thing else seems perfectly functional.
Has anybody ever seen this one before? Any clues how to get them back?
I would just reload ArchiCAD, but the installation disk and I are now on opposite sides of the world.

Perhaps the windows are too big and they are below the bottom of the screen?

You can always use ctrl + . (period/full stop) for cancel and enter for OK in the dialogs.

You could also try applying a different Palette Scheme under the Work Environment.

I can see the entire popup menu, but the OK button is still on vacation. Just hitting enter does the trick. I was so astonished to lose the button, I don't think that obvious solution would ever have occurred to me.

Many thanks, ArchiBrothers.
