Problems with Hotlinked MODs

One problem we've been experiencing regularly is that we can't seem to create a single-story MOD when Publishing to MOD. Whether the Save Options are set to "Current Story" or a "Story Range" with a single story selected, if the source contains more that one Story, the result is always a Multi-story Module. This usually doesn't cause any problems, but it is troubling that it doesn't seem to work correctly.

The second problem is recent: after hotlinking one of these MODs, and specifying that the First Story of the MOD is to be placed on the First Story of the host, the MOD appears placed on the story above (walls set to "Show on Home Story Only" aren't visible on the First Story, and when viewed in 3D, the walls are set with their base elevation at 13'-4" above Current Story). By setting the Elevation of the MOD to -13'-4", it appears as needed but again, there is something wrong here.

It seems we are able to work around these issues, but after searching the forum, and not coming across anyone experiencing the same problems, I'm curious if we are the only ones?

I had what seems to be a similiar problem with module height and had to set it to a negative height on the First Story to get it to appear correctly. Apparently it's a bug due to the difference is american first floors v. european first floor (american second floor) Ignacio explained it here:

Hope that helps

Ahh -- I am familiar with the difference between USA First Story = 1 and [all others] First Story = 0 -- this makes sense -- thanks!

similar problem appears to me as well,

after completing a house with three floors (-1, 0, 1) I save it as *.mod
in order to transfer the house in another *.pln file which consists the building plot.

during the transfer....all seemed alright except the -1 floor.
all walls were displaced at height lower than it really was.

I work on version 11 - the Greek (metric) version

are there any suggestions?
