Hi folks, really hoping you can help!
I work for a small firm that does mostly residential work, especially renovations to existing homes. Herein lies the issue....
We begin each of these projects by first entering the existing conditions (thus also allowing us to create demo plans), and then use that information to jump start schematic design/design development. We arrange all of this so that all of these conditions are in layer combinations that allow them to be turned on and off (We are working in 3D always so this means that walls are at time stacked on top of one another). The issue is that even when layers are turned off, we can still see where the walls are, particularly at intersection points. Does anyone else run into to this issue, and if so, what do you do to handle closing those intersection gaps (particularly at corners where they disappear)? We currently go back over those areas with a 2D line to fill it, but this is somewhat annoying and we can miss spots. There has to be an easier way!
Looking forward to hearing from you. If you need it, our system info is listed below
