Two walls in one place, neither show.

I have a very complicated document with hotlink modules inside, for some reasons I need to have the walls in both the main file and in the hotlink modules, this means that when I do a section/elevation neither wall shows...

Can anyone suggest a way that I can have the walls showing dispite their overlap?

No.

AFAIK coincident elements will always cancel each other out in 3D.

You have to decide where to explode the walls and have them only as 2D - in the module or the master file.

In case anyone looks here for an answer....

You cannot place two walls in the same place.

There are several solutions to get around this.

Have both walls as only half a wall, this will show up as a single wall if they are of the same material.

Hide the layer with one of the walls in either the mod or the main file.

In either the main file, remove one wall and have only 2d lines to show where the wall goes.
