Why do a wall in hidden layer still intersects?

Dear all,
This e-mail will be the first I write since ArchiCAD Talk switched to web based form. As having a DSL connection anymore, I hope to contribute frequently.

Today, for the first time since 1989 and ArchiCAD 4.0, I met with a problem about the walls connection, which is as follows.
Think about two walls creating a 'T' shape and they are clean intersected. When I hide the layer of vertical part of 'T' shaped wall combination, the interruption (where the wall in hidden layer intersects) on the lower line of horizontal wall still exists.
One more interesting thing about that the situation is layer sensitive the problem occurs or not depending different layers.
Did anybody live such a case before?
How can I overcome on it.
Attached picture may be more descriptive.

Hi, I will too meet this problem. I dont know why ....

But, I know how that adjust.

Modify hatch wall, if you modify hatch and You have now diferent hatch, indication is corectly.

Or insert wall ( wall[´s] which you want hide or second wall[´s]) into another layer and change priority number.

I know that intersection priority can present problems like this. You will need to set the priorities in the layer dialogue box for each of your layer combinations. I would suggest at least updating to 8.1

It looks like an intersection priority issue to me as well. The intersection priorities are "remembered" with the layer combination, so after you figure out if this is the issue, you will likely have to update your layer combinations to make this "stick" for your views.
