Hi everyone,
Iām having trouble with my window schedule in Archicad. Even though the windows have the same properties (size, materials, type, etc.), theyāre not merging into one row in the schedule.
Iāve enabled the Merge Uniform Items option and made sure there are no differences in things like IDs or hidden properties.
What could be causing this? Any advice would be really helpful!
Operating system used: Mac Intel-based 15 Sequoia

Hi Derek,
first thought that came to mind:
have you checked if there are any blank spaces in your ID? Like "W01 " instead of "W01"?

Hi Xandros,
Yes, Iāve tried copying the properties of the windows, but the problem still persists. I initially thought it might be related to a renovation filter, but Iām not sure. Do you think that could be causing the issue, or is there something else I should check?

The info TYPE / MATERIAL / FINISH / GLAZING is a custom property?

Hi Mathias,
Yes, I was having a hard time finding the actual fields, so I created a custom one. Could this be causing the problem?

I couldn't recreate the issue by using different renovation filters (nor variants, nor hidden layers).
How did you copy the window's properties?
Maybe the width or the height don't have the exact same value but are rounded to the same values?

Iāve checked, and the dimensions are exactly the same for all the windows. My colleague was experiencing the same issue, and I tried using the Eyedropper tool to copy the properties, but the problem persists. Interestingly, if I copy a wall with the windows I want in the schedule, the issue resolves, and the windows merge correctly. However, the two walls I drew are identical, so Iām wondering if this might be a bug in Archicad.

To be sure, is it a custom text field or a custom property ?

Custom text field.

I think the problem lies there. You should use a proper custom property for this kind of info. Custom text field are not recommanded.
