layers in views

Could anybody help me with figuring out how to get a layer permanently invisible from a view. I have a site around my building that keeps turning on as I toggle from the plan and section view. thanks[/img]

If I understand you correctly and you are using quickviews you would turn the layer off with the view active and redefine that view.

In my opinion every view should reference a layer combination and not a custom set of "on" layers. If you set it up this way there is no need to ever re-define the view. Update the referenced layer combination and all views that reference this layer combination will be updated. Just a good general practice.
