Is there a web-based training course for ArchiCAD either in Spanish or English?

There is one for AC 7.0:
http://www.archimaster.com/

You might want to contact A.I.K Visual Concepts or GSCNE to see if they are planning on releasing a version 8.*.

Nice one I didn't know about the ArchiMaster website.

We are still using AC7.03 so it may encourage some of our staff who insist on only using ArchiCAD for 2d work to make the leap to 3d Project model!
AC versions 3.41 to 25 (UKI Full 5005).
Using AC25 5005 UKI FULL
Mac OSX 10.15.7 (19G2021) Mac Pro-2013 32gbRam AMD FirePro D500 3072 MB graphics

Two members of staff never draw in 3d they treat ArchiCAD like AutoCAD and draw everything with lines and fills. I'm hopeful that one of them is coming round to the ArchiCAD way of doing things (after 5 years ) but the other guy resigned this week and he is going to an office with PowerCAD so he will be happy

Another guy draws 2.5d He will draw the model to a certain point using the mesh tool to show the surrounding building context and a simple massing of the building. Anything fiddly he will draw as 2d lines in the plan rather than model it.

Once he has enough to trace over a wireframe or hidden line view he does a drawing with pencil, scans it and colours it in Photoshop

We have a few users that only draw (draft) with the 2D tools and objects also. I'm just glad that they finally accepted ArchiCAD as a viable CD tool!

These users only deal with wall sections, details, etc. (always have, always will). The other team members and designers feed them the building information that was pulled from the virtual building model. Then they embellish the raw information to produce complete sections and details.

No matter how "virtual" the building model is, conventional 2D drafting is still required to produce a complete CD set. - Maybe someday...
