AC14 TW2 build 3269 is worst than 3004!

We have update Archicad to the latest build, and to my surprise things got worst! We haven't experienced any serious crashes when working in TW since yesterday. Once installed the hotfix, we got "Server Running with errors" message on the BIM server every morning when we launch the server, and frequent error messages to all users joining the project that leave no option than to work in offline mode!

And all these without any bug reports that would give feedback to GS.

What is happening here?

Hi Andor, I have sent you the support packages...

another thing that is happening quite often is this: a user sends his work to the server, but the other members do not see it even after receiving... this is forcing us to do frequent "Reload from Server" which is slowing us down...
also it is very annoying because there is no way to know that the work hasn't been received as there are no error messages whatsoever. And we are all working in the same space... i hate to think what would happen if someone was in a remote location...

Hi Achille,

Thanks for the package, my colleague is working on it. He will reply to it.
Related to the new problem, we will contact you in private message about the details.

I think suprised is the perfect word to describe how I felt as well. I have this same issue. I have tried everything I can think of short of resharing the project all to no avail. My machine / BIM server user is able to access the project, but every other user and machine in the office (even fake users created for the test, and machines which have never accessed the project) display this same message.

I have to have a fix or work around for this ASAP.

I'm anxiously awaiting an answer to this one. I haven't made the upgrade yet, and will hold off until this is resolved.

Dear Users,

The "server running with errors" error message comes because unfortunately at hotfixing the "start with operating system" options of the services set up previously by the user get deleted and therefore the services fall back to the default "start with operating system" option so one service starts with the OS the other does not. This is bug of the installer that will be fixed for the upcoming hotfixes.

The Repair button solves for that run of the OS. For the long term solution you need to:

1. Go to the BIM Srever Control Center Preferences
2. Set the "start with operating system" flag to the opposite that seen.
3. Press OK.
4. Go back to the Preferences.
5. Switch the "start with operating system" flag.
6. Press OK.
7. Press "Repair".
8. Restart OS.

Sorry for the inconveniences.

Andor
