AC19 - teamwork: No User listed in palette

Anonymous
Not applicable
We started working on AC19 and converted all teamwork files to AC19.

In the teamwork palette under "Users" usually the name of the active and inactive users (incl. me) is displayed. This is not the case.

Therefore if someone wants to work on an item I have reserved, usually he/she can request to release this item, but in AC19 the send request button is greyed out (because the user is not listed..).

Same issue with other AC19 files.

Any idea? Is it "me" related or a bug to be fixed?

I have the following ideas that might help to address this:
- first check that the network connections are OK: open the Open/Join dialog, drop down the list, Run Network Diagnostics

- if the above does not indicate any problems, stop the BIM Server
- you can use the new menu bar/tray icon for that; stop both the Manager and the Server
- after the services are stopped delete the following file: /Applications/GRAPHISOFT/BIM Server 19/BIMcloud Server 19/Mailboxes/Mailboxes.db
- restart the services via the menu bar icon, open a Teamwork project and check the user list

Let us know the results,

Schuchardt,

Could you tell us which one of Marton's suggestions is the one that worked?
It will be useful for other readers in the future.

My apologies,

My network connection was ok (otherwise I could not be online with teamwork)

- I stopped the BIM Server, both the Manager and the Server;

- after the services are stopped delete the following file: /Applications/GRAPHISOFT/BIM Server 19/BIMcloud Server 19/Mailboxes/Mailboxes.db

- I restarted the services, opened the Teamwork project and check the user list

thanks again

There was a similar bug in Ac18 that has been fixed. In this instance the mailboxes.db file might have gotten damaged because of a server restart or crash. The only result of deleting the .db file is that the previous teamwork messaging is lost.

This has happened to me as well... Driving me bonkers... We contacted graphisoft, and haven't heard anything back. I will post the fix once we figure it out...
