BIM Server (AC13) won't start after upgrade to Mac OSX 10.6

From these two articles, it seems some plist files were lost. The BIM Server Installer won't run in repair mode (because the BIM Server has be hotfixed above the version on the DVD). The Installer thinks the BIM Server is a new version. Any ideas on how to repair BIM Server (AC13) after a Snow Leopard upgrade?

Maybe this is the answer:

"...Hotfixes are no longer issued for the ArchiCAD 13 BIM Server module"

Ted,

On this one, I would suggest getting in touch with your local support people.

Although, there are a few things to consider. If you do not have too many projects and you have PLNs from which you can re-share, it might just be easier to re-install.

A trick that might get the installer to run, is to look for the ProductVersion.xml for the AC 13 module of the BIM Server. This would be under Server Modules/1300/TeamworkServer. Open that with an editor that properly handles xml files (avoid things like word or pages... -- If you know how to use vi, then use vi). Change the tag for the build number to a number one less than what is written. For instance, you have 3832 as a build number for the product version, change it to 3831. Then try the hotfix again.

Interesting suggestion. I will try the edit and post success (or not).
