I am setting up a new Mac Pro to host our BIM Server, and want to store data on a Promise Pegasus R4 RAID connected via Thunderbolt.
I set BIM Server to store Projects and Libraries on the RAID at /Volumes/DataRAID/Teamwork/Projects and /Volumes/DataRAID/Teamwork/Libraries.
The problem is that after a reboot, the RAID gets mounted at /Volumes/DataRAID 1, and I have a folder at /Volumes/DataRAID that just has empty folders for my teamwork projects and libraries. This of course is causing errors for everything else stored on the RAID.
My guess is that the RAID is taking too long to mount at startup, BIM server is making a new folder in /Volumes, and then the RAID can't use that location.
Could this be correct, and if so, what can I do about it?
Shouldn't BIM Server just wait for those locations to appear rather than making empty default folders if it doesn't find them?
