Layout Book Definitions Window WITHOUT Reserve button

Vinicius Lima

Why the hell doesn't the "Book Definition" window have a button to reserve? Or at least not allow me to create issues, add layouts to issues, so that I don't have to find that gray "OK" button. Very annoying!

All items in the Navigator have to be reserved at the bottom of the Navigator Palette before entering their Settings Dialogs.

But I agree that it would be nice to have some kind of indication in the Dialog that if you make any changes, they will not be applied.

Another one of those big inconsistencies in AC: totally unclear why some dialogs have a reservation button while others don't 🤨

Probably one of the biggest time losses, even for me. Making all the changes only to see that the effort was futile.
