Team members cannot connect to BIMCloud Server

Hello,

I have a problem connecting to Server. I've installed and set up my laptop, using IP Address, to be the host server. I also created users for all my team members. However, all of them cannot access/ connect to my server. And I can only access to server if I use my laptop to log-in (join the teamwork project). However, I cannot log-in (my account) if I use my teammate's laptop. I have tried many ways to fix it, but still cannot have any idea what's wrong here. I believe that I do not have the muli-licenses, so cannot access to the server from my friend's laptop
Secondly, I'm wondering if everyone should have BIMcloud User license to access into the server or the teamwork project?

It will be grateful if anyone could help me (how to fix the server that allows all members to access to the server), as it is my Uni group task, we need to finish our project before deadline.

Hello,

Let me answer you in two parts:

1. I think the problem here is that your team mates are not on the same network as your computer. If you don't have a static IP which is opened to the external communication, then other computers cannot find their way to connect to your machine.

2. BIMcloud is the paid version of the BIMcloud family, where all users need to have a BIMcloud User License. I think for you, as university students, a BIMcloud Basic (which is the free product plan of the BIMcloud family) is absolutely enough. It has less features for sure, but a free activation and your Archicad EDU license is enough to run it. I suggest to downgrade (https://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/knowledgebase/87159/) to BIMcloud Basic and use it instead of the paid version.

Hello,

I have downgraded to BimCloud Basic, and changed my IP to another assigned IP (I followed the description how to change to static IP in google search), but I do not know why it is still a dynamic IP (

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dl-WHRhn5LW32efchURiADhtMSYz_9MR/view?usp=sharing ). I changed the last 3 digits from .103 to .201, but it still show dynamic IP. I think it is a reason why only my teammate using the same wifi can log-in, other teammates still cannot log-in.

Could you please tell me how to change my IP address to a static one in more detail?

Secondly, for example, If I travel and connect to a different wifi router, I am wondering if I need to change my IP address?
