Teamwork project stuck loading when joining

When I wanted to join the project, it got stuck on "Phase 1: Downloading Data" for a day with no progress at this point. I only have this problem. Other participants in the office can participate without any problem, but I encounter this problem from time to time in different projects. The project size in BIMCloud is 8 GB. Could it be caused by this?

A few questions that come to mind:

 

  • What is your hardware? With a project of this size I'd probably recommend at least 24GB RAM. Ususally while joining a project, ArchiCAD uses really a lot of RAM (in comparison to normal acitivities in ArchiCAD).
  • Is there enough space on your harddrive?
  • Are you missing a proxy setting that your colleagues are maybe using (or the other way round)? Any other network issues maybe?
