A major workflow issue has been identified when working with BIMcloud SaaS and Modules.
The required method to save a module directly to BIMcloud SaaS is to use the "Export to BIMcloud" function. However, this method has a significant limitation: you cannot save only selected items—it forces the export of the entire level content.
Conversely, using the "Save Selection as Module" command is cumbersome. This option defaults to saving the module locally on the user's computer, requiring a separate, manual upload/import step to BIMcloud SaaS, which significantly complicates and extends the workflow.
Critically, the combination of these limitations means it is impossible to directly override/update a module that is already saved on BIMcloud SaaS.
Furthermore, if a user wants to open the module separately in ArchiCAD, they must first download the file from BIMcloud SaaS and then open the local copy from their computer.
To solve this problem, ArchiCAD must add a dedicated "Save Selection to BIMcloud" function. Without this essential feature, the BIMcloud SaaS product is fundamentally flawed and impractical for efficient module management.
