Any 3d views saved in the View map with a higher resolution then 72dpi have their resolution reset when placed on the layout. Does anyone experience this? Do you know of any fix?
Thank you
Operating system used: Mac Intel-based Tahoe

It works fine for me. I am on Windows, you are on Mac, I don't know if that makes a difference.
Could you write down step by step exactly what you do that makes this issue occur?

Thank you, Laszlo for answering.
Honestly, I'm not sure when and where it occurs. I was in the middle of a deadline and had to take care of a lot of little things and I noticed a few times when I looked at the drawings placed on the layout that the resolution has reset back to 72 dpi. I went then and checked the saved views and they too were reset back to 72 dpi.
Usually I save a 3d view, edit all the settings and set my res to 288 dpi (see pic attached), later I place it on the layout. All it is to say, again, that cannot pinpoint what went wrong. I opened the file just now and moved things around, placed a new drawing on the layout from the same 3d view and everything was ok.
One thing I noticed though, if I picked up the setting of a layout drawing, already placed – a floor plan, for example – and then used those settings to place a new drawing, this time of a 3d view, the res of the newly placed drawing was 72 dpi, even though the view was set and 288 dpi. This did not change the res on the 3d view saved in the view map, unlike previously. Hope this not too convoluted! 🙂
So long story short, I'll keep an eye on this and report back if it happens again.

This may be due to updating the view with the button at the top of the view settings dialogue, or when you right click on the view to redefine. These will reset all the settings with the current windows settings. If you only want to update the camera position, without affecting the resolution and size, then you can use the checkbox get camera and visibility settings instead.
