A18 Cinerender Channel Output

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hi,

we have been testing out the new Cinerender engine in a18, and are really happy with the upgrade in terms of image quality. However a18 lacks the possibility to render out channels. (matte shadow, material id, reflection channels etc.). Are there any plans for a future implementation for this?

Best Regards

There is an alpha channel option for the background mask, but beyond that I've not found these either. They would be very welcome for advanced postproduction tricks in photoshop.

I was really hoping I could find the answer to this on here and it looks like this is what Cinerender is lacking imo. I can do this all day in Artlantis rendering is a PSD format but I can not find that option on archicad.

I can't seem to find the option where it does the background mask? Everytime I "save as" it flattens my image when i open it in Photoshop.

In the detailed settings under General Options it should be there: Generate Alpha Channel.

I second the demand for this feature 😉
