AI Assistant and AI Visualizer not showing up

Hello....just got ac 29 and not sure where to start with the AI Assistant prompt window.

Click a few times and not seeing any prompts. 

Please provide me the tutorial.

AI Assistant (Beta)..this is what i get

HI @Llian 

May be this could be the issue: the AI Assistant is only available for Archicad Collaborate, Studio, and Solo subscription licenses (cloud licenses). If you are using perpetual software key licenses, AI features will not be available.

I don't know if this is your case...

I have just paid for subscription and got an email confirmation to download AC 29...i am suspecting that I should be downloading AC 29 SOLO...let  me try

Oh dear, removed full version and downloaded SOLO and having the same issue...now i have to remove it and reinstall back the full version ...not sure what to do now that i paid subscription and AI beta not working. Any advice ?

Don't bother with AI assistant - it is not even as good at answering ArchiCAD-specific questions as a general purpose AI like Copilot. 

AI assistant, despite a couple of years development, is still wrong more often than it is right, giving clear evidence that it has no comprehension of the relationships between things supposedly within its own domain. 

 

I am finding that any answers it generates are often an unholy mashup between unrelated things, chosen presumably because those things involve use of broadly similar words, with little sense of recognition of the actual context or applicability.

 

Copilot, for what it is worth, also does far better at answering building code and construction related questions - amazingly.  And it is free.

 

You still need to independently check all answers from any AI, but you will tend to get more logically coherent and more likely accurate answers elsewhere, saving you time and aggravation.

 

Similarly, AI visualizer is a mess, offering nothing of value to anyone with an understanding of buildings or the capacity to design them. - another gimmick.

 

The depressing thing for the architect user base is that developing all these marketing-gimmick features, and 'me-too' features for unrelated disciplines, is clearly where the bulk of our huge subscription fees are going.

Hello Llian, thank you for your feedback. We ran into issues with the eligibility and license providers but it is now fixed. Could you please let me know if you still till today cannot use AI Assistant or AI visualizer?

Hi.  

 

We have an issue where we can use AI Visualizer on a pln file but not in a file where it is teamworked on BIMcloud SAAS - the palette option is greyed out in the menu.  AI Assistant works fine in either pln or teamwork?  We have ArchiCAD collaborate licenses.
